hi all– last year or the year before I had asked for prayer for my dad. He ended up passing away in Feb. of last year. Then, in Dec. my sister, who helped with caring for my dad and was a great help and friend to my mom also died. My mom is 84, has chronic pain, can’t do much for herself anymore due to severe arthritis in her hands and feet as well as spinal stenosis. Two other sisters live with her- one isn’t much help at all, and the other works full time and takes care of most things around the house. My precious mom is so lonely, and ( of course) still dealing with the heavy weight of grief. Also, I’m sure she is grieving a loss of independence. Would you join me in prayer that she would have a life-changing encounter with Jesus? she does believe in God, is a Catholic. Jesus said He is near to the broken-hearted and cares for the widows. I’m praying that He would break through the wall of grief to visit her in a life-changing way so that she would have that to hold onto in her dark times. I humbly thank you for praying. I am so grateful for this community.
