O Most Gracious; loving God, and heavenly Father, whose glory fills the whole creation, and whose presence we find wherever we go: preserve this grandmother who is about travel into eternity. Please Lord, surround her with your loving care; protect her from every danger; and please bring her safely into her journey’s end here on earth. May her transition into glory be peaceful through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen 🙏🙏 Praying for peace comfort and strength for all the members of her family. I never met JoAnn Miller (Saved by His Grace in Happy Valley). I knew her only as a voice on the airwaves. Over the past few years I would hear her reach out to encourage the struggling, comfort the broken, and sometimes exhort us to remember who we are in Christ. In one call, I remember her gently reminding us that sometimes people — broken, confused, hurting people — just need to be loved. Her gentle voice had that love in it. You could count on her to share that love each time she called in. Her physical family was blessed to have such a woman of faith, her spiritual family —all of us — even more so. 🙏🏻Lord, we rejoice that Your daughter has made her way home, but we confess, our hearts are sore. We will miss her voice here, but we look forward to the day we will all be reunited. In Jesus’ name I pray.

Joining my heart with the prayers of this family for God’s perfect will and timing in the life of JoAnn from Happy Valley. I love that I recognize her voice and so I always look forward to hearing her brief testimony re having walked away from The Lord, and her struggle with alcohol, and how The Lord used that time to draw her back in and strengthened her to encourage others walking a similar path. Holy Spirit Come. I thank you that Joanne knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that she is Yours. I thank you for your loving pursuit that overtook her when she chose to take that first drink, again, I fhank you that when You clean us up in our mess and our shame, you clean us from the inside out. Thank you for your gift of salvation that JoAnn has known and received. May you comfort her family as they wait upon You. May her journey home be a peaceful and joyous transition.
