Dear Dee, I think we put so many things into our bodies that don’t honor the Lord. While I don’t believe God wants us to be rigid about this, it is vital to take care of what He has given us and care for ourselves spirit, soul, and body. I’ll be lifting you up. Although I am tall and slender, I recently had some blood work return with my own wake up call to take care of the body I’ve been given. It doesn’t matter if someone “appears healthy” on the outside. Appearances can be deceiving. My entire eating is changing to fresh vegetables, fruits, more fish and supplements to be as healthy as possible. Additionally, I’ve been power walking 4-5 days a week. We have one life to do this and can’t take one day for granted. We are all on this journey battling various struggles. There’s something to be said for a Daniel fast and intermittent fasting. Sending love and encouragement. ❤️ 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 ESV Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

Abba, asking also, for You remind Your beloved daughter DeeNice in Christ that You have empowered her with the spirit of an overcomer. Come Holy Spirit 🕊 and give her an awareness that she doesn’t need to rely on her own strength, her (own self effort) completely to reach her targeted weight, and her desired healthier life style. This glory✨ to God, is due to the fact that she’s not alone, and that through CHRIST, and through (His anointing) which resides within her, she can do all things…

Not His style. He is like the gentle Shepherd of Psalm 23. He employs discipline and protection with His rod and staff. He will gather us to Himself and chase away the enemies that will harm us. See yourself as the clay being molded by the Chief Potter. You are being reshaped into the image of Christ in you. Let Him have His way in you for His ways are holy & good and are of great benefit.
