June 26, 2017 at 2:09 pmWe are about a year in a half into a new church that started with four people. The church had felt with some issues in the past causing members to leave. We are here because God has placed us here. Things came out of the gate strong but we are slowly losing traction it feels like. There is some Jesus relationship building going on here but we need people to come. This is my first pastorate and I am learning to become a better leader. The blessing is that most our new members are just that new-in-faith as well. 80% of our congregation has recently been saved. The workers are few and i find myself taking on all the rolls. I need help! Please pray that God will continue to to a great work in our church and guide me to lead his people. We need disciples making disciples.

June 26, 2017 at 7:44 pmBrother may the Lord order your footsteps. May the Lord give you wisdom and favor as you lead his flock. This is a calling with such great responsibility as God holds you accountable for your members so may you seek him and be used of God to speak forth His word.
May you yield fully to Him and as you do so , you will start receiving breakthroughs in the name of Jesus. Your helpers will LOCATE you! When people come to church they will sense the move of God .Let it not be like a religious duty as has become in so many churches. My prayer is that the spirit of God will move leading many to repentance and help bring forth disciples. As the spirit moves, we also will see the sick healed and miracles through Jesus being manifested.
I pray favor upon you as you endeavor to labor for Christ. May the Lord draw laborers who will work hand in hand with you for indeed the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few.
Be strong and of good courage. Don’t be discouraged if the church doesn’t expand as fast as you want it. Let God grow the church and let His word spoken through you bring forth much fruit.

June 26, 2017 at 8:55 pmAmen Sister Shelia.
I will pray as you say Pastor Travis. One thing I know, God wont want you doing everything, so I pray you would seek and find council on this matter like Sister Shelia but also unknown to you there would be gifted people with generous hearts ready for the roles that need filling right from the congregation and that this would lesson your burden. I will pray that these people are revealed to you, that God would open your eyes to who they so you are help.
God bless your work.
