My Husband

    My husband Kirk has been so patient and supportive this entire time I’ve been laid up with sciatica/ herniated disc., but I know he’s tired and feels helpless. As a man, and an engineer by trade, he feels like he should be able to fix whatever is wrong, and gets frustrated when he can’t find a solution. Father God, I pray that You release Your supernatural abilities; Power, Love and a Sound Mind to Kirk. I pray that he surrenders to Your will and trusts in the goodness of God. I also ask You to loose upon him the friuts of patience, faith, love, longsuffering and self-control. Thank you God for your righteousness! You alone are worth all praise and glory! Amen 🙏

    I too agree. Lord, Having been through this myself. Use this season Lord, to deepen Kirks relationship with You. May he see that You are all he needs. Help Kirk to realize that even though physical abilities are important, there’s freedom that comes from letting go of our need to be in control, and the feeling that we are responsible to fix everything. Help Kirk Father, to be able to trust You for his future, and to be able to rest in Your love. Help him to see that You’ve got this, and that everything is going to turn out well. You’ve brought him this far, surely, You’ll take him the rest of the way.

    Continuing to lift my husband Kirk up in prayer: Father God, thank you for Kirk. Thank you that for 22 years of marriage he’s been a faithful husband that fiercely and loyally loves and protects me and our young adult daughters ❤ Father, you know that Kirk has always trusted in his own abilities to “save” his family from potential harm, whether it be physical or mental, and this has caused much anxiety . His spirit and mind are exhausted. His body is breaking down in mysterious ways. I pray, Father God that You’re Holy Spirit would fill Kirk and that his heart will soften to hear Your word and begin to surrender to Your will. I pray Kirk’s faith and trust in You continue to grow and that he recognizes that only You Almighty God are in control. I pray pray all this in the name of Jesus. Amen 🙏
