Dear Lord our God, Please give this person peace and comfort while going through the battle of depression. I would ask that your healing hands would touch this person so that they would regain a strong faith in you and deliver them out of the horrible battle of depression. God, only you know the darkness that has come over them and I ask that this darkness would flee in sight of you. Let them know that you have never left them, but rather you have them in your arms.

All this I pray in your holy name AMEN!

God, I pray for this person right now struggling with depression. I pray for healing and restoration. I pray for balance in the mind and strength. I pray for renewed joy & happiness. I also pray that this individual be surrounded by your love and encouragement. I pray you bring this individual encouragement through Your word, through supportive friends and family, through songs, through devotions, through books, through the radio…wherever they turned may it be an encounter of your calming and renewing presence.

I know what your friend is going through. I fight this battle also & have since 1995. I pray that he or she will find strength in Jesus & that they would find a good doctor to get them on the right medication. And I pray for them to have a good support system in family & friends. Stay by their side. A good listener means a lot. I pray that their mind will be filled with uplifting thoughts & that the devil will flee from this situation. I ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus.
