Lord I declare a holy intervention. I declare that the power of your love takes over the identity of Eric. Show him who he is. Show up for him Lord so that he can see who you are. Show him that you are nothing but pure love and pure acceptance. Make his life a testimony. Pour out your favor and your grace in him. Melt this family with compassion and grace and show them that in you they have NO SHAME. None! No matter what tomorrow brings. Lift them up to the divine place where they can understand your thoughts and your ways and understand that In you sin has been abolished. I declare that fear be replaced with laughter and hope. I declare that shame be replaced with boldness in your word and in your name and honor. I declare complete deliverance in Jesus holy name.

God, we ask for spiritual protection around Eric’s mind and heart. We ask for peace for his parents. We ask for the Holy Spirit to minister, convict and counsel Eric. We know all problems are spiritual in nature, as we are fighting against principalities of darkness. We stand on the blood of Jesus, and ask that you God, minister to this young man. Help him overcome this temptation, and walk with You. We thank you that he is covered by your grace. I ask for peace for the parents, that they not feel condemned or ashamed in any way. Cover this situation with your grace and love. AMEN

Father, help Eric seek You first and seek Your ways. Help him understand that among other things, homosexual practices are, at their core, anti-human. He deserves so much more, more blessings, more love – which are there waiting for him with his parents.
Lord open the lines of communication in this family so even this can be discussed with love and gentleness.

Lord, give these parents the wisdom they need! Please take the fear away and help them to bring this to light in their home. Use them to help their son find true healing. I ask that you would teach them how to show him your love and open his eyes to the truth of how valuable he is to you. Lord use this painful and confusing situation to one day help others dealing with the same and bring them into your kingdom. Heal this young mans heart… and strengthen this family in a way they never knew was possible.

Yes. Amen Tiffany. Parental wisdom, unconditional love and complete trust in the Lord who is perfect in all of His ways is so important during this crucial time of identity confusion. It is so easy for shame to enter into these situations and perpetuate a cycle of silence, confusion and secrets which serves to lead us into darkness and keep us chained there. So we ask You to come Holy Spirit and shed Your light into this situation and lead this family into Truth. This son needs to know the truth of his Godly identity (that is the truth of who You created him to be). This family needs heavenly discernment regarding the true source of this issue so that they may confidently pray through this. I agree that this situation does NOT need to take years to pan out. Sovereign Lord, You are enthroned in heaven NOW and Your Spirit is here with us NOW. We ask that You remove all confusion and fear from this situation. Replace these with trust that all of Your ways are true and confidence that there are no mistakes in Your creation. We bless and thank You Lord God of our salvation who daily carries our burdens and who commands us to share the burdens of Your loved ones through our prayers for one another.
