I am requesting prayer for my children and I through our Christian walk. I am a single mother of three children. I haven’t been very good about discipling my children this year. With Covid I have got out of going to church as much as I was going every Sunday. I am not super involved in the church I go to although my children and I are members of the church. I don’t feel connected to anyone there in particular but love the church as a whole. Please pray that I take the opportunities to get more involved in classes or getting to know people. As far as discipling my children I use to read the Bible to them at night and got out of the habit of that. I ask that prayers be lifted up for me and my children. I feel guilty for not doing my part but I know in God’s grace time can be redeemed as they are still young. Please pray that I would be faithful in going to church, teaching my children about Jesus by my words and deeds. Also please pray for strength that I am obedient to God’s call on my life as I am currently writing a Christian book and it’s hard to juggle being a mom, work full time, and maintain the discipline of writing this book on the truth of God’s Word. Distractions are coming at me and prayers would be deeply appreciated that I am able to say no to any distractions, sins or anything that stands in the way of being obedient to the Lord. I feel silly and embarrassed for publicly asking for prayers on this stuff especially when I know what 2020 has brought for many of us. Many other people are dealing with much deeper issues however I really have trouble staying focused on the mission and I don’t really know who to talk to about it and I humbly am asking for some prayers that God supernaturally work in my heart for me to put Him first in my life and my children’s life. Lastly I ask that prayers be lifted up that the Lord gives me strength to continually write this book until completion as I know it’s the assignment He has for me. Thank you!!
