In 4/16/24 a woman called in requesting prayer. I don’t recall her name, but she said she is being abused /bullied at work by a client and has been given time off. She is concerned about being able to pay her taxes and having the finances, she live. She’s was very tearful, and asked that we pray because she needs to hear from God. Dear sister, while I cannot answer your prayers, I can pray on your behalf. Your situation touched me more than you know. As I was reading a daily devotional, it was on the beginning of wisdom Proverbs 9:10 reads, “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the holy one is understanding.” The devotional goes on to say that we aren’t much of a testimony when we’re healthy, happy, and rich. People attribute our lives to ease and comfort, which does not give a person, compassion or empathy. Our struggles and difficulties, or where we live out our faith in, and out of fear of, God. That’s when people will notice our creator carries us to the other side of these rough spots. so my prayer is Lord Almighty, may you lift up this woman’s eyes to you for her struggles. Please give her understanding so she knows that you are here and why she depends on you. May she always be in awe of you It is in the mighty name of Jesus Christ that we pray. Amen.
