June 18, 2023 at 3:52 pmNever felt loved. Still struggling with feeling loved by both God and people. Daisy is now so pathetically blind, bumping into things. Needs help with everything and gets so disoriented. If she doesn’t die naturally before winter, I’ll have to have her put down because with my mobility issues, I could never manage to help her in and out to potty. Rug wetting has long been a problem. She sleeps with me now because the sundowners was so severe. A tiny little twin bed! She seems more secure. It’s unsafe to leave her alone now. I dread the day. I’m so desperately lonely now. In spite of her many issues, she’s a sweet companion and loves and needs me. I’m just struggling in so many ways. Had to go to grief counseling when I lost my other dog. Daisy is all I have but Jesus. In need of prayer. Thank you. God bless. May all of your needs and heart cries be met.

June 18, 2023 at 5:37 pmMiss. Lacey, don’t you have a church family? Are you able to get out for basic needs/appointments? I don’t know what I would so without my church family. It helps alleviate loneliness in so many ways… serving others and small group always helps me to feel the love of other Christians and the women in my small group ard my family. I pray you find a church home where you can physically attend service and be a part of your local body of Christ. There is no better cure for chasing away negative thoughts, or a painful upbringing than to attend church and to serve others within and corporately in The Body of Christ. I will be praying for God to open doors for you to get connected with other believers, in Jesus Name.

June 18, 2023 at 5:55 pmLacey and Daisy/So many of life losses. Father’s Day especially painful. Lacey i added your name on ongoing prayer list. Gratitude as a discipline involves a conscious Choice Its amazing how many occasions present themselves in which we can choose gratitude instead of a complaint. The bible refers to gratitude well over one hundred times. 💥Seems as thou it’s an important topic to God! Many of this occurrences involved people thanking God, the creator and sustainer of all we cannot make, do, or maintain. Let’s spend time thanking the creator of sun and smiles, of you and me. Instead of complaining today when we feel frustrated, we can choose gratitude instead. It’s a discipline that will be worth every effort.

June 18, 2023 at 6:47 pmAgreeing with the prayers and wisdom from my sisters and asking the LORD to help you in your walk of faith and perspectives. Asking the Father to open new doors for you and that you would say, “Yes!” and pass through them and enjoy everyday life in Christ Jesus from a deep well of knowing that You are pleasing Him in whatever your circumstances and trusting Him in all things and focusing on what His plan is going forward to expand His kingdom in which we all have a share. That you would learn the faith of Paul… Philippians 3:13-14 ESV “Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” We all have something to offer God. Paul wrote while he was in prison and prayed and fasted for the church despite his humble circumstances. He changed the world and still does through his obedience and service to God despite the tortures, beatings and imprisonment. We all have something that the LORD can use no matter where we are in life. Christ in me is the hope of glory. You have Christ. He has given us His Holy Spirit. We have the freedom in our nation to still worship freely and share our faith with others. He has given us sunshine, rain and an earth that is still habitable. Life is a gift, and He shows us how to use it through His word, His church and by His Holy Spirit. Praying that you will see the adventure that awaits you for each new day and the grace and beauty of it to walk with Him and His people. Know that you are not alone. You are loved and prayed for not preyed upon. You have the authority God has given you if you are walking in obedience to His word. Like Dorothy in the wizard of Oz, we have something way beyond “ruby shoes.” Christ in you is the hope of glory. It’s not my word, It’s Gods… let Him reveal Himself to you. Praying. Amen.

June 19, 2023 at 1:00 pmThis used to feel like a safe place to share but not as much anymore. Preachy criticism instead of encouragement recently when I’ve reached out. We have no small groups at church. I’m elderly with serious mobility issues and I don’t get there as often anymore. Mostly young families now. I’m very thankful for the simple things like a soothing bath and many other things. Assuming I’m not is hurtful. I’ve been a believer for 46 years so I’ve learned a lot about gratitude and praising God in ALL things. Thank you for the sincere prayers and hearts that really care. May your needs and heart cries be met and may you find understanding and encouragement when needed. God bless.

June 22, 2023 at 4:33 pmThank you for your prayers. I’m doing better. Father’s Day was rough. I’ve never known the love of a father, just abuse, neglect and rejection. It also greatly effects understanding God the Father’s love. I’m a Christian for 46 years and still struggle with feeling loved by God and people. God bless.
