Prayer for employment and academics

    The Lord has still not revealed his world to me… I keep applying for jobs/internships for the summer, but haven’t heard from anyone or have been rejected. I must get experience in my field, especially since I’ll be a senior next year. I am praying desperately for some opportunity to present itself… I only have two more weeks of classes, so Time is really of the essence. Also, I am still struggling with statistics. He has not graded our most recent quiz yet, but I need to know my grade soon so I can make plans for next year… I’m praying that God will give me understanding of the remainder of the material we cover, so that I may do well on the final and pass the course. my head is spinning with all of these moving parts, and I just need God to intervene and work them out.

    Dear God,

    I come before you today with a petition for all things. I ask for your Spirit of wisdom and discernment to guide us in making decisions that honor and glorify you. May we seek your will and follow your guidance in all things.

    Lord, I also ask for your Spirit of kindness and goodness to be present in our lives. May we show love and compassion to those around us, and may we be a reflection of your grace and mercy to the world.

    As we navigate this life, Lord, we know that your greatness and glory will be fully revealed in the future. We look forward to the day when you will establish your kingdom on earth, and when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

    Until that day, Lord, may we cultivate gentleness and faith in our lives. May we seek peace and tranquility, even in the midst of life’s storms, and may our faith provide us with a sense of security and hope.

    Above all, Lord, may your will be done in all things. May we trust in your plan for our lives and seek to honor you in all that we do.

    Thank you for your love and grace, and for the hope that we have in you.

    In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
