Teen Daughter sudden anxiety and depression

Please pray for my daughter who has suddenly developed an episode of anxiety and depression, has been almost two weeks, doesn’t want to do anything and says she feels dark inside , I don’t know how to help her beyond calling a therapist , she just wants to stay in her bed , this is a girl who usually likes to be on the go , hang out with friends and just stay busy in general , we are loving on her and praying and have asked her to share anything that may have happened but she just says she feels intense sadness and overwhelmed about recent graduation and college plans,we are very concerned as we don’t know what has caused this

Reveal yourself to her, You are the Light and there is no darkness in you.
Bring her parents great peace at this time, and an extra hug for them.July 1, 2023 at 9:38 pmDear cherryry; my suggestion would be to make her an appointment with her primary doctor for a quick check up! Pray asking the lord to reveal or the truth come to light. Certainly praying🙏🏻 🙏🏻❤️🕊

July 2, 2023 at 12:57 pmJoining with the family. LORD we know it’s true that some metabolic imbalances can be a contributing factor in a person feeling depressed. And it’s true that there are medications that can, (and do) treat the symptoms of depression successfully to a point. And it’s true a good Christian therapist who understands spiritual things such as spiritual warfare, can be extremely helpful in resolving the issue of depression. It is also true that there are times when medicines do not work, and therapy doesn’t work either. This is because they can’t touch the root cause of a person’s depression., which is more spiritual than physical or mental. The feelings of this dark depression that you discribe, could very likely be the result of demonic oppression, that can only be cured by JESUS’ blood. 🩸 — Heavenly Father, we plead and apply the precious blood 🩸 of JESUS the “Anointed One” over cherryry’s daughter. We believe that there may be evil forces at work, forces that have been firmly defeated at the cross ✝ by JESUS’ one time sacrifice. We also believe that faith in You God, and in Your Son, and in Your Son’s decisive victory! that He won over the devil, death, hell and the grave can make a person totally free in spirit, soul, and body. We lift the daughter up and, plead JESUS’ the blood, 🩸 and rebuke! the spirit of depression off of her mind, her will and her emotions, over the soulish part of her being. Abba, we pray she be strengthened with might in her inner man (her spirit-self). We pray she arises from this place of dark oppression, and lives free, and full of light in the goodness and lovingkindness of her loving “Caring Shepherd.”We pray expectantly, that she is forever delivered and set free! from the spirit of oppressive depression…

We come before You with hearts heavy with concern for Cherry’s daughter, who is currently experiencing an episode of anxiety and depression. We lift her up to You, knowing that You are the source of true healing and hope. Lord, we ask for Your comforting presence to surround her and bring light to the darkness she feels inside.
Father, we acknowledge that she may be under a spiritual attack, questioning Your promises, struggling with sin, and facing the temptations and deceit of the enemy. But we hold on to the truth that You are greater than any spiritual attack or darkness. Your promises are steadfast, and Your love is unwavering.
In this time of despair, we ask for Your healing touch upon Cherry’s daughters mind, body, and spirit. Lift the spirit of anxiety and depression from her shoulders, and replace it with Your peace and joy. Help her and her family to find solace in Your promises and to cling to Your truth, even in the midst of doubt and confusion.
Your Word reminds us in Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Lord, we claim this promise for her daughter, asking that You strengthen her and uphold her during this challenging time.
In Psalm 34:17-18, it is written, “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Father, we ask that You draw near to this family, comforting their daughter in her brokenness and bringing deliverance from her troubles.
We also ask for discernment and wisdom to recognize any false teachings or deceptions that may be contributing to her distress. Protect her from the deceit of the enemy and guide her into Your truth. May she find refuge in Your Word, which is a lamp unto her feet and a light unto her path (Psalm 119:105).
Lord, we pray for Cherry’s daughters renewed enthusiasm and hope. Replace her anxiety and despair with a sense of anticipation and excitement for the future. Help her to find joy in Your promises and to trust in Your goodness.
We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We believe that You have the power to bring healing and restoration to her life. We trust in Your promises, knowing that You are a God of hope and redemption. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
